What Would I Do Without You Wednesday.

As you all know, or maybe not (see here.) I am pretty brand loyal, esp to my lip gloss, but I recently switched (and cut my lip gloss cost in HALF! HOLLA!) I feel that this color is very J.Crew and perfect for spring, I also love that it is the perfect amount of smoothness and stick that my lips crave (stick is extremely minimal).

Cargo Lip Gloss in Rio. Available here. Or at any ULTA.

I also have been in love with It's a 10 styling serum for a long time now.  It does everything it promises. And smells unbelievable. I highly recommend.  It's worth the $25 you'll spend. As for their shampoo and conditioner, I can't say so much!

It's a 10 Miracle Styling Serum. Available here

And finally, the one product. I. Do. Not. Know what I would do without.  The Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat.  This thing is amazing.  Erases any sign of that little amount of sleep you got last night and brightens your eyes up when those 3 cups of coffee won't do the job.

Go into your local Sephora, they're super helpful at matching your complexion flawlessly. A little bit of a splurger. But I promise.  Totally worth it.

And last, but certainly not least. I have a confession to make.  I cancelled my Birchbox a few months ago because I wasn't impressed, but now I miss my month surprises.  How do you all feel about Birchbox?  I know it's only ten bucks, but in the grand scheme of trying to become a saver, $10 over 12 months is worth saving if you aren't entirely thrilled with what you're getting. That is money I can spend on a lip gloss, I know I'll like for certain, or a Diet Coke at the movies. hahah. What are you alls thoughts?

You know how they say a closed door leads to an open window?

Well God just swung both patio doors wide open and it is leading somewhere BEAUTIFUL and EXCITING. I cannot divulge any details at the moment, but I hope, hope, hope it leads to something amazing, so I can explain to you all what has been going on here in the world of Chelsea lately and update you on my life :)

Prayers and positive vibes are encouraged.  And needed.

Love you friends!

MOST AMAZING WEEK {aka swimming pigs}

I just returned from the most amazing week in the Exumas Islands; specifically Highbourne Cay, Compass Cay, and Staniel Cay. I got to do so many things, like paddle boarding, snorkeling in some of the most secluded scenes I've ever experienced, went swimming with sharks, visited an island with swimming pigs (they'll be pissed if you don't bear food) and yatched to islands only available by boat.  Here are a few photos. I can't even explain how amazing the last week of my life was.

You are The Best Thing.

Makes me wanna dance around with a tall glass of reisling with my love, barefoot on a crisp wooden floor, on one of those perfect spring days. gahhhhhhhhhhh.

You are The Best Thing. That ever happened to me.

Good friends are like Stars...

Good friends are like Stars, you can't always see them, but you know they are there.  Cheesy quote. I know, but it amazes me how sometimes you can grow apart from people you were so close to at some point in your life, but what also amazes me is how you can remain close to some friends, and grow even closer even though you are farther apart from them geographically.  I've always had a real and honest friendship with Emily at Life is Uncharted Territory.  But after graduating high school, then college, growing up {a little}, and going through our own life chapters, we've both somehow become closer. And I am truly grateful for a friendship like ours.  She is one of the strongest people that I know.  And also one of the most optimistic and just all around great person to seek advice from.  And also just an all around amazing person.  I was lucky enough to spend time with her in Dallas and also in Lexington before she moved away to Shanghai.  You should read her story from the start, here.  Also, I wanted to share her amazing video of her and her husband's recent trip to Thailand.

Emily, I am blessed and better for knowing you! :)

THE WINNER IS. . .

Splurgers vs. Savers. Aveeda vs. Suave.

Aveda Shampoo and Conditioner is average around $25 to $30 each. I love the Aveeda line also, it leaves your hair feeling fresh, invigorated, and smooth. Quality product.

But I just recently found thiss........for $2 each.

It definitely isn't the quality of Aveeda products, but it smells amazing and does the job.  This is my new favorite.
