Completely RANDOM!

Okay girls, life is keeping me busy and I received a lil text from one of my blogging beauties saying that we both need to step up our blogging game. So I promise for the rest of the summer, I am going to have one substantial or meaningful post per week, and by that I mean something I really put effort into. I had an amazing weekend, but that's another story for another day.

1. I have a quote for you.  this cutie is on my fridge right now.

2. I am painting my nails this color this week. I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

In French Accent: Je m'appelle "Au Natural"

3. I LOVE being a girl.  I love that I can style my hair a million different ways. I love dresses.  I love jewelry and pearls and pumps and mixing and matching.  But I hate blow drying my hair. {which is part why I get the Brazilian Blowout...post to follow this week!!} but I also invested in this little babe this weekend.

Kenra Blow Drying Spray. The tag line for this is LIVE MORE, DRY LESS.  I'll keep yall posted.

4. Oh and it wouldn't be if I didn't tell you all what my current jam on my iPod is...say hellow to Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, Falling Slowly.

LYRICS TO REMEMBER:

I don't know you
But I want you
All the more for that
Words fall through me
and always fool me
and I can't react
And games that never amount
To more than they're meant
Will play themselves out

5.  And last, but definitely not least...my favorite part of Bachelorette "Men Tell All" you ask? William's HONESTY. Okay ladies, I wasn't a William fan, he kinda looks like my ex and I thought he was a bit inconsiderate especially for him roasting Ashley to the core on that ONE episode, but when asked "Why did you go on the show" his answer....." because we can't find anyone to date.." hahaha perfect, real, answer. Thanks for being raw William. We all make mistakes and sometimes act and do things that are contrary to our character.  I forgive you.

XX, Talk soon!

Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought...

Ask my high school girls, and they will make fun of me...because I had this absurd crush on Conan during high school {and still do}. I have a great amount of respect for him and his little speech during his last show and those last few words rang true to me..I think this leettle tid bit of advice should always be kept in the back of your mind...

All I ask of you is one thing: please don’t be cynical. I hate cynicism — it’s my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you’re kind, amazing things will happen.

how to wear your hair to a Gala. . .decisions, decisions...

I couldn't be more excited.   Saturday I am going to the Junior League Horse Show Gala with some of my favorite people! for the second year in a row ;)

I am wearing this Lilly Pulitzer number, the Allegra dress. . .

And adding some pearls my dad gave my as an early birthday gift....but I still haven't decided how to wear my hair.  What would you all choose?

Wavy and free...

which could lead to this...

or I could just go with a good blowout...

or something in the middle! WAIT...can I just look like this forever..?? gorgeous!

Help. Xo.

100th POST! Las Vegas, Nevada!!!!

Las Vegas was crazy. and beautiful. hot and fun. too much for words.  i have too much to say and too much sum up. I had an amazing long, long weekend out there.  it was spent at the pool, casino, dinner, clubs, sleep, repeat for 4 days. I only have a few photos. but if you go out there, I recommend you stay for only 2 to 3 days. We were lucky and got a LOT of stuff free, as I'm sure most bachelorette parties do, but the time change and late nights left one tired girl after it all.

Without further adieu, I give you Vegas in photos....

the bride and I at The Wynn

at our hotel, The Mirage...the flower arrangements were beautiful.

Bare, a pool where you're allowed to do just that. don't worry, we didn't.

The Bellagio ceiling.

just a lil pre-bar gambling at Planet Hollywood.

taxi ride home..sleepy girls.

The volcano, that went off every 15 minutes outside our hotel, The Mirage. it was fun, they play scary music along with it.

The calmer side of Rehab (Hard Rock's pool party)

the crazy side of Rehab, where we were give access to a cabana and free bottle service...ahem, and beer for me! :)

{me!!} just taking it all in, great day!!!

If you're considering going to Vegas, it is a must GO place....for once in your life. ;) Happy 4th loves, I'm about to jet downtown for live music and fireworks. Xx,
